Seoul

This past November, I had the opportunity to stop by Seoul, South Korea for a couple of days to see a friend while on my to Manila for a work trip. In 2.5 days, we were able to visit several sites and monuments around the Seoul area and experience the city through local eateries and relying completely on its superb subway system.

I can easily say that my short visit converted me into a huge fan of Korean cuisine. To eat where the locals eat, I recommend you visit the Gwangjang Traditional Market in the Jongno-gu area of Seoul where you can try a little bit of everything. Visit the vendors that have the biggest crowd and I'm sure you will not be disappointed! Also make sure to ask around to get some recommendations on where to experience some delicious Korean barbecue. I wish I had more time to explore of the city and other parts of this beautiful country & culture!
